Although i never knew Ginny personal i admired this person and was shocked when i read that he been taken to early from us. Last Call/Dazzle is my favorite shop. When i think of the shop Ginny automatically comes to mind. I wish i would have had the chance to meet the person who dressed me and a lot of other people and made them feel special.

I would like to give my condolences and my sympathy to everyone who has to deal with this sad loss.

Thank you Ginny for everything. I will miss you although i never knew you as a friend. :~(

The Opening

Yesterday finnaly the opening took place :) Was there early and an hour before opening i thought i better check the stream and Freestar was so kind to help me, thx girl :) Almost panicced as it didn't work lol. But a few minutes later it worked, freestar typed the password wrong ;)

My sis Jenilia was there early too. waiting with me and Freestar. Who was setting up her stuff. Seemed my Mic was to large lol. And i bought the smallest i could buy of that kind. Cylindrian would have needed a chair to get to it i think. But Freestar was so kind to let me borrow hers. And it was purplish, so it fitted well :)

Finnaly it all started. Freestar Tammas started to play and people were starting to pop up :)) Crap Mariner chose to ride the moon that night. Looked cool!

Freestar did a great job, the first person to play that stage! I'm proud it was her. Love her, although she tried to emberras me! And it worked lol. Silly billy. I'm also proud Unmasked Shepherd attended the opening. Love u sweety.

Then all the sudden i saw a giant backpack walk past me. I had to look twice and then saw Cylindrian Rutabaga was attached to it. Yes the great Cylindrian :) So proud she was playing that night. And got to say see did a super show. i felt like "wow". Even the sim got maxed! I think my neighbours won't like me anymore hehe. My good friends Dewran, Helen and Audri showed up too. Was so happy.

After Cylindrian it was time for JueL Resistance to show her music skill and she was superb. 15 minutes into her show the thing happened that is a must for an opening....the sim crashed :) It probably was maxed to long lol. After the crash most came back and continued the concert!

JueL finished her great performance and it was Charles Coleman to take the stage next. And he took it well! Was a great performance! He is a great person too, never really talked with him before. Also was honored Queen May Rosebud, Sir Ren Stonecutter and Cyl's mom showed up during his gig :) And as his gig ended the event ended. It was great!

Would like to thank everyone that attended and the great great artists! Was super! Wahooooo. cyas next time! :)

The Esplanade: Grand Opening

Comming Friday, the 28th of September, i'm opening my piece of land. It been open for a while but never did an opening or anything. Live music is the event.

Freestar Tammas, Cylindrian Rutabaga, JueL Resistance and Charles Coleman will be performing that day. Start is at 2pm SL time and ends at 6pm. I did have Dexter at 6pm but he cancelled all his gigs for this week. Hope you be fine Dex! Another time :) Did not get a replacement. It's pretty late for me that time.

While you there you can also stop by Dewran Wopat's "Wopat Graphics", Queen May Rosebud's "La Rose de Mai", Artistic Fimicolouds "Fimi Gallery" and my Studio and Gallery. Work of Freestar and stuff from Dolmere you can find on the square:) Everyone is welcome to visit or not :) Hope to see you's there!

This Saturday: JueL's Fundraiser

Tommorow, Saturday September 22nd, there will be a fundraiser from 12pm until 10pm. The fundraiser will be a live music event and will be held at JueL's place Living room #13.

She is doing this fundraiser to get herself to Mahoneyfest in Georgia. Her goal is to raise 350k.

Secondlife musicians are independent musicians and some of them have no other income then from their music. Please support JueL in her goal to get to Mahoneyfest, she deserves it.

All tips from this event will go toward air fare, food, and travel expenses.

The Stage

Yes, yes i'm still alive. Busy bee still here. Hope 1 more week and work be normal again.

I have decided to do an opening for my land. This would be celebrated with live music ofcourse :) I looked around for a stage to place on my land and then thought by myself: "Claudia, u weird woman, why not make one yourself". And so i did. And as result i got a purplish-black thing on my land now haha.

I changed the name of land to The Esplanade, with thx to Dew. Paved land at the sea it means i got told. The opening i planned at the 28th, more info will follow soon. One more artist to get :)

Singer/Songwriter Grace Buford, also known as Cylindrian Rutabaga has a new CD released. The CD is called RIVER. And got to say it sounds super as always :) Get it when you can, you will buy great music but also will support this great artist.

SL Boxing

My friend Dewran Wopat started a new career and this is SL Boxing. I never heard of it before he told me about it. Yesterday he had to fight a match and i decided to go have a look.

And got to tell you it made me laugh. There were 3 guys in the ring running around hitting air. Seems one have to stay away from the opponents gloves. It's a weird sight to see. Doesn't look like real boxing at all from a spectators view. Can imagine it be fun doing, not my thing tho.

Saw Dewran win 2 fights then i went to see Cylindrian Rutabaga at Ratepoint Café. Which is more my thing haha.

The Cannery - Grand Opening

Yesterday i went to the opening of The Cannery. This exhibition shows the skills of some of the best photographers in Second Life and it shows a few catogorized pictures which can be voted on. One of my pics is in the pose section, had no idea they be voted on lol. Want to change pic now haha. Nah, i'm honoured i'm actually in there! Main thing for me.

It was a bit laggy yesterday so had a quick look around and i was pretty amazed. Will return there soon to make some pics. The build is amazing. Go check it out and buy Vint t-shirts!

Went to the opening party where DJ Nephie Eerie played some nice tunes! Was cool to see some people there i had only known from Flickr. Thx Vint and Shoshana for adding me to friendlist! You done great!

Yay, a new post from me :) Been busy last week(s) and will be the comming weeks too as it is hectic at work. Will try to post now and then.

Been busy on renovating my land too....wanted it to have proper buildings. :) Might still change a few things but happy with how it is now.

Went for a pier look. With a row of buildings. Took some pics of it and make sure you visit(hehe).

Kim Seifert played today at Ratepoint. She was replacing Cylindrian. I love her country style and she did a good job. Together with headspinning guitar playing Remote Hudson.

Cylindrian is in the third round of a Real Life singer/writer contest tonight. I think she forgot to cancel this show as it still was in the event schedule :) I hope Cylindrian will get to the next round!

Today i felt honoured that Vint Falken mentioned my blog on her blog. Love her pictorials and blog posts. But i think she got me confused with someone else.....

Hehe :) i wish i could sing! I'm just a big music lover. Clothes i love tho :) Also thanks Vint for pointing out the comments were on registered users only.

And would like to point you out to The Cannery. Don't know if i should call it project...but it's a project Vint Falken is involved in. This place will open in august, will place an opening post on here too, and will be heaven for the picture/arty lovers.

Lag vs A Beautiful Voice

Yesterday i got the honor to visit another concert by Cylindrian Rutabaga. This time it was on the Avilion sim. I went there with my friend Jenilia Congrejo. i think it was the first time i saw her in a gown and she looked great!

I love the Avilion build and theme....but the lag was horrible. I think all the gowns make it horrible like that, although they look good. During a visit to a Avilion concert it is normal for me to restart SL or i know i will crash 1-2 times. My friend Jenilia is on a laptop and yes she crashed and her lag was even worse then mine, so she gave up. Tip for future visitors....sit down listen to music and do not move!! Seems to help not crashing lol.

Cylindrian did a wonderful concert. Mostly sad/love songs that brings a tear to the eye when you hear her sing it. Loved it, thx Grace. Tried to make a picture of Cylindrian, but the shot i had in mind didn't work as her hair wouldnt rez on my screen lol. Asked Dolmere and he said it looked fine on his screen(he better be telling the truth!). Even a restart didn't help. So did one of her back. Next month, i think it is the 9th of september she will play there again. Go visit.....visit all her gigs lol! And surely u should go see the Avilion Sims when u get the chance.

Home Sweet Home

Thought i do a little blog about my home/gallery/studio. Living there a month now, maybe 2. It was a beach but decided a more fantasy look be greater so i changed the whole lot.

Used to have a smaller lot, but got the land next to me too. Oh and one week later Dreamland lowerd land prices....it would have saved me 10k+ if i waited a week, so wasn't happy with them. Can't do nothing about it tho :)

Part from my Studio and Gallery there are also on my land: Wopat Graphics from my friend Dewran Wopat and La Rose De Mai from my friend May Rosebud. And a small cave that's my home ;) Hardly use it tho heh.

Most of the stuff i used there is from Creative Fantasy Home & Garden....love their stuff!!!!!

One may wonder what the purple/blueish thing is i'm wearing on my arm.

Well i came across it when i did one of my laps on the SL Relay For Life sims. Loved it....i attached it....i never took it off. I don't know why but i'm keeping it on until the next SLRFL closing event. Maybe just to keep people reminded...no idea.

ETD: Camo Bra & Cargo Capris Set (Purple)

Right....i walked into this one when visiting ETD. For who doesnt know yet ETD is having a clearance sale. All hair are 50l and complete color packs is 300l. That's pretty cheap! Only thing is it is for group members only. The last 2 days of the sale be open to all tho. I think it's a 3 week sale. i think i doubled my inventory with all the new hair......

I don't know if the clothing is on sale too. Can't remember what they normally ask for it but this set cost me 175l. I loved the look of it and the color. And it shows some skin *wink*.

I'm wearing Niamh - Lilac from last Call Vamp(shoes) and ETD hair called Brenda with it. My rating for this set is 7 out of 10. It gives me a summer feeling, which i miss in real life at the moment, damn weather.

As i'm kind of a clothing freak(i think i can dress everyone in SL with the clothes in my inv) i will do some blogging on that too.

Starting off with Milla from Last Call. This pants set is slightly different then what i'm used to from Last Call. It has ripped pants and buckles on it. It goes slightly towards a punky look. That i really love! Hope they will release more like this. It has a 'fishnet' shirt with under it a red top.

On the "Mantis meter of Wootness" i would rate this set a 7 out of 10. Go get it i would say ;)

On the shot i'm wearing the set with: Demonia Boots from Escape, Petite hair from Gurl6, Necklace and Earrings came with a set called Tomboy i got at Escape and the Armbands are Leather Ring Wristbands from ETD.

Cylindrian Rutabaga @ Puzzles

Cylindrian just finished her gig at Puzzles and she was superb as always! The gig is part of the opening of Puzzles....still figuring out what this place is, but it looks cool :) Club/Gaming/Concerts.

Cylindrian will be followed by Frogg Marlowe and Jaycatt Nico. JueL Resistance and Maximillion Kleene will also perform tonight. Hope i stay awake to listen to them.

There was a riot tho. The amazing Crap Mariner got turned into a Crap popsicle! Razzap Snookums tried to get him out of the giant ice cube but the one braincell left, after a life of smoking pipe, didnt help him.

House of the rising couch got him out!

Last Call/Celestial new build

For a few days now Last Call and Celestial been open in a redone sim, 2 sims actually. Last Call went back to the "warehouse" type build they used to be in before and i totally love the style...as i love their clothes too ;)

Last Call also released a new line with 13 new items. Also a new 1 linden gift which i think looks great. I haven't checked Celestial yet, not a big fan of their skins.

Let's hope their neighbours ETD and Canimal will get the same renovation! That be 4 sims of cool builds.
